COINSURANCE - The percentage you pay for your share of services or prescriptions after you’ve met your deductible. For example, 20% of a covered fee.
COPAY - The set amount you pay for your share of services or prescriptions after you’ve met your deductible. For example, $10 for a doctor visit.
DEDUCTIBLES - The amount you must spend before your plan starts to pay. Some plans do not have deductibles.
FORMUALLY DRUG TIERS - Drug tiers are how we divide prescription drugs into different levels of cost. Generally, the lower the tier, the less you pay. The higher the tier, the more you pay.
MAXIMUN OUT OF POCKET - The out-of-pocket costs you pay before the plan pays 100% of your covered services.
PREMIUMS - The amount you pay for coverage each month.
